ETCEI 2025: Empowering Europe’s Chips Ecosystem through Emerging Technologies

Athens, 10 September 2025 – The Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association (HETiA), in collaboration with the University of West Attica (UWA), the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), announces the organization of the Emerging Tech Conference Edge Intelligence (ETCEI 2025) on October 24–25, 2025, at the “Ancient Olive Grove” Conference Center of UWA.

The event takes place within the framework of the Hellenic Chips Competence Centre (HCCC) project, supported by the Chips Joint Undertaking (Chips JU) and co-funded by the European Union and the Greek Government under the “Competitiveness” Program.

With the theme “Empowering Europe’s Chips Ecosystem through Emerging Technologies,” ETCEI 2025 aims to highlight synergies between research, innovation, and industry in the fields of microelectronics, edge AI, sensor networks, 5G/6G communications, and cyber-physical systems.

Conference highlights include:

  • Scientific paper presentations (oral & poster sessions)
  • Exhibition of technological innovations
  • Career Day for students and young engineers
  • Dedicated sessions on the EU Chips Act and the Greek semiconductor ecosystem

Researchers, startups and companies are invited to participate, present their work, and connect with the European Chips community.
